Comfort Actions
Comfort Actions are little things you do for yourself throughout the day that make big changes.
Taking a few moments to stimulate your senses and ground yourself is always a good idea.
Pampering your self doesn't have to cost a fortune or take a lot of time.
You are capable of amazing self love. Here are a few comfort actions that you can do quickly at any time.
Scalp (1-3 minutes)
A quick scalp massage removes tension through the neck and shoulders.
Using your fingernails or fingertips, start toward your forehead and walk your fingers back towards the back of your head.
Repeat a few times first working from the front/forehead over the top and down the back of your head. Alternate with working fingers back along sides of head. move all down towards back of your head and neck.
Facial (1-3 minutes)
With a light touch, using both hands, try tapping gently with all your fingers on several parts of your face. By experimenting with how your face actually feels, you can learn where the tension is held. When you find the tension massage that area using your fingers or preferred self care massage tool (facial roller, orb, etc.)
Daily Repeat Self Massage
(3-12 minutes, self paced)
Unclench the body
Start at the top of your head
Relax your scalp, brushing your fingers through your hair and giving a self massage.
Work down to the back of neck. Repeat a few times.
move into shoulders first with same arm massage, alternating into cross shoulder massage. Work down edge of neck muscle, squeeze, moving towards shoulder.
Brush down each arm, alternating, wiping away all the static electricity to the ends of your fingers
Massage cross arm down each arm to hand and fingers, alternating
Shake arms in downward elongated gentle motion, feeling of heaviness going down and slipping away
Rotate waist lightly side to side arms relaxed
Let all weight sink as muscles relax
Focus mind moving down your body each part relaxing as you travel all the way to the floor, and into the Earth.

Relax with your stance approximately shoulder width apart, knees soft and relaxed. If practicing sitting, take up your seated posture and prepare.
Raise up palms to your sides palms up
Lifting up gather sunshine as you bring arms up and to approximately shoulder width
Bring down your arms and feel warm energy flowing down to the floor.
Circle hands slightly as you gather this ball of warm energy and pick it up to chest level.
Breathe out as you press your hands out forward.
Gently return hands to front, relax
Repeat several times at different times of day
Spinning Wheel (Mindshift Meditation)
Relax and allow your arms to hag at your sides, stance approximately shoulder width or seated properly.
Rotate from the torso so hands and arms begin to follow the rotation back and forth from your torso.
Feel the heaviness in your hands. This is a good time to try the quick self massage for release tension.
